“Gift of Education 2024: Empowering Students Through Scholarships and Support in the Wake of COVID-19”

We are delighted to share the successful completion of our event, “GIFT OF EDUCATION 2024 (COVID-19 RELIEF),” held on October 13, 2024, at Tiruvannamalai, in the presence of the honorable Senior Civil Judge, Mr. M. Vignesh Prabu.
This event marks the fifth in this series, where 26 semi-orphaned students, affected by COVID-19, were awarded educational scholarships totaling Rs. 4.95 lakhs. Additionally, 60 government school students received educational aids to support their ongoing education.

In a program held at Tiruvannamalai on July 23, 2023, ₹4.75 lakh was provied as educational assistance to 26 students who lost their parents due to Covid-19. Additionally, 140 students attending government schools received essential items such as notebooks, stationery, book bags, and uniforms. The initiative aimed to provide crucial support to those affected by the pandemic, ensuring that these students could continue their education with dignity and the necessary resources.The occasion was graced by Mr. B. Shankar Mahadevan, Correspondent of udhavum ullangal from Chennai, Mr. Seeni Karthikeyan, District President of Mahadeepam Arima Sangam, Thiruvannamalai, Mr. K. Ramesh, along with members of the public, government school teachers, and students who attended as special guests. Heartfelt appreciation was expressed to Chennai udhavum ullangal organization and their generous donors for their steadfast financial support towards the Nansei organization, exemplifying solidarity and compassion in community service.
